Princess Cruises Expands Caribbean and Panama Canal Itinerary with New Celebration Key Addition
Princess Cruises has announced an extensive new lineup for its Caribbean program for the 2027-28 season, which showcases a record 31 ports and will depart from five different homeports. Beginning in 2026, the cruise line will also be including calls to Celebration Key, a new destination oasis.
The inaugural call to Celebration Key will occur on November 1, 2026, by the Star Princess, followed by the Regal Princess on November 9, 2026. Other ships, including the Caribbean Princess, Enchanted Princess, Sky Princess, and Sun Princess, are scheduled to visit this destination during the 2026-27 and 2027-28 seasons.
Jim Berra, Chief Commercial Officer of Princess Cruises, expressed excitement about the addition: “Celebration Key is an extraordinary destination oasis, and adding it to our itineraries gives guests even more ways to savor the Caribbean.”
The Caribbean season, which will run from October 2027 through April 2028, has several highlights:
- 187 departures across nine ships, including the Star Princess making its debut from Port Canaveral.
- A variety of 43 itineraries, ranging from four to 15 days.
- Access to 31 destinations, including 13 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
- Five homeports: Miami (a new addition), Ft. Lauderdale, Port Canaveral, New York, and San Juan.
- Late-night stays in Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao.
In addition, the Panama Canal season will operate from September 2027 through April 2028, featuring 22 departures across five ships, along with nine itineraries that involve roundtrip sailings from Ft. Lauderdale and additional one-way options from both Ft. Lauderdale and Port Canaveral.
