Windstar Unveils Exciting New Itineraries for the 2027 European Cruise Season
Windstar Cruises has launched bookings for its 2027 European program, featuring a selection of new routes in both the Mediterranean and Northern waters. The cruise line has curated a dozen fresh itineraries aimed at showcasing smaller harbors and less crowded anchorages across the region.
Jess Peterson, who is responsible for destination experience and itinerary planning, mentioned that the 2027 schedule is designed to offer unique experiences that larger ships cannot easily access. The itinerary emphasizes intimate port visits, extended evenings in port, and a leisurely exploration of Europe.
During the 2027 season, five yachts will operate in Europe. Four of these—Star Legend, Wind Surf, Wind Spirit, and Star Pride—will sail from March through November. The new Star Explorer, anticipated to begin service in December 2026, will remain in Europe year-round. The program covers diverse cruising regions, including Greece, Italy, Croatia, the Netherlands, England, Portugal, and Norway.
Specialty voyages for the season include trips aligned with the Grand Prix, a cruise for viewing a total solar eclipse, and a mystery-themed journey. The popular shorter getaways will also return in 2027.
