Celebrity Cruises Partners with ASTA for River Cruise Expo Sponsorship in 2026 and 2027
The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has announced that Celebrity Cruises will be the Title Sponsor for the ASTA River Cruise Expo in both 2026 and 2027. This sponsorship comes as the cruise line gears up to launch a new class of river vessels on the Danube and Rhine, featuring open decks, expanded accommodations, modern dining concepts, and each vessel’s hallmark elevated service.
The ASTA River Cruise Expo is the premier industry event dedicated entirely to river cruising. The sold-out 2026 expo is set to take place from March 11 to March 15 in Amsterdam and will welcome hundreds of travel agents along with major river cruise companies. As Title Sponsor, Celebrity Cruises will have significant visibility during the event, including at the Welcome Reception and through a main-stage presentation at the General Session. Senior executives from Celebrity will also participate in a fireside chat with ASTA’s President and CEO, Zane Kerby, on March 13.
Celebrity’s upcoming riverboats, which will launch in 2027, aim to elevate the river cruise experience by incorporating design features from the brand’s Edge Series ocean ships alongside continental influences. Notable features will include Skylight Infinite Balcony Suites, adaptable open-deck spaces, and enhanced culinary and beverage options, with fares that will include shore excursions, Wi-Fi, and premium drinks to improve the overall guest experience.
ASTA emphasizes that the expo provides advisors with a chance to expand their knowledge, connect directly with supplier leadership, and keep pace with this rapidly growing segment of travel. Celebrity’s involvement is viewed as a strong indicator of the rising momentum within the river cruise market and reflects the line’s dedication to supporting the advisor community.
