The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has announced that Celebrity Cruises will be the Title Sponsor of the ASTA River Cruise Expo for the years 2026 and 2027. This comes as Celebrity plans to unveil a new class of river vessels operating on the Danube and Rhine rivers, featuring open decks, larger accommodations, modern dining options, and the brand’s signature elevated service.
The ASTA River Cruise Expo is a prominent gathering focused solely on river cruising, and the upcoming 2026 event is already sold out, set to take place from March 11 to 15 in Amsterdam. It will welcome hundreds of travel agents along with major river cruise companies.
As the Title Sponsor, Celebrity Cruises will have a significant presence throughout the expo, including a main-stage presentation and participation by senior executives in discussions with ASTA’s leadership.
Celebrity’s new river vessels, set to launch in 2027, aim to transform the river cruise experience by incorporating design elements from its Edge Series ocean ships with European stylistic influences. The new ships will offer innovative features, such as Skylight Infinite Balcony Suites and flexible open-deck spaces, along with enhanced dining and beverage options. Pricing will include shore excursions, Wi-Fi, and premium beverages to enhance the overall guest experience.
