Celebrity Cruises Partners with ASTA for Upcoming River Cruise Expo Sponsorships in 2026 and 2027
The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has announced that Celebrity Cruises will serve as the Title Sponsor for the ASTA River Cruise Expo in both 2026 and 2027. This partnership is significant as Celebrity prepares to unveil a new class of river ships on the Danube and Rhine, featuring open decks, enhanced accommodations, modern dining options, and the brand’s renowned elevated service.
The ASTA River Cruise Expo, recognized as the premier event dedicated solely to river cruising, will take place in Amsterdam from March 11 to March 15, 2026, and is already sold out. The event will see attendance from hundreds of travel agents and prominent river cruise companies.
As the Title Sponsor, Celebrity Cruises will enjoy prominent visibility throughout the event, including participation in the Welcome Reception and a main-stage presentation during the General Session. Additionally, senior executives from Celebrity will engage with ASTA President and CEO Zane Kerby in a fireside discussion set for March 13.
Celebrity’s new riverboats, slated to launch in 2027, aim to transform the river cruise experience by combining design features from the brand’s Edge Series ocean vessels with continental styles. Key amenities will include Skylight Infinite Balcony Suites, flexible open-deck spaces, and upgraded dining and beverage selections. Furthermore, fares will cover shore excursions, Wi-Fi, and premium drinks, enhancing the overall guest experience.
