Crown Princess Set to Sail Again After Successful Drydock in Singapore
The Crown Princess has officially resumed service after undergoing a scheduled drydock in Singapore. The ship, which can accommodate 3,080 passengers, has received several enhancements and general refurbishments aimed at revitalizing its facilities ahead of upcoming voyages.
Notable upgrades include the introduction of O’Malley’s Irish Pub, which replaces the former Wheelhouse Bar, accommodating 134 guests with options for traditional pub fare and a diverse selection of beverages. This venue is also designed to enable live music performances, fostering a vibrant social atmosphere in tune with similar updates across the fleet.
Additionally, the ship’s casino has been transformed into Gatsby’s Casino, featuring a new layout and improved amenities like updated gaming equipment, a refreshed bar, and a renovated cashier area to enhance guest comfort and circulation.
The former Internet Café has been replaced with an EFFY Lounge and High-End Vault, which showcases jewelry collections from a New York City-based brand, providing an elegant space for retail display and consultations.
The ongoing drydock program by Princess Cruises aims to modernize shipboard facilities in alignment with guest preferences while upholding the brand’s service standards.
Crown Princess is scheduled to arrive in Sydney, NSW, on January 4, 2026, and will commence a series of cruises around Australia until May of that year. Following that, it will set sail on a 114-day World Cruise, embarking round-trip from Sydney on May 10, 2026.
