Dream Cruises is set to launch a unique pickleball program aboard the Genting Dream, scheduled for February 3 to 6, 2026. This program marks the first organized pickleball clinic hosted on a cruise ship, taking place during the cruise from Singapore to Phuket.
Collaborating with Performance Pickleball, the onboard sessions will allow guests to engage in structured pickleball activities as part of the ship’s entertainment offerings. The partnership highlights the growing popularity of pickleball, demonstrating its appeal in a cruise environment. Performance Pickleball aims to bring the sport onto the sea, making it accessible to passengers eager to play during their voyage.
The timing of this cruise is strategic, as it precedes the Epic World Championship, an important international pickleball tournament scheduled in Singapore from April 30 to May 4, 2026. The onboard clinics will serve as a valuable training opportunity for participants ahead of the championship.
Performance Pickleball, known in Singapore for utilizing specialized playing surfaces, will set up a professional mobile court and provide coaching sessions led by qualified instructors. Passengers will also have the option to purchase related equipment during the cruise.
