Tragic Incident Aboard Royal Caribbean’s Ovation OTS: Passenger Death in Singapore
On January 19, 2026, a tragic incident occurred aboard the Royal Caribbean International cruise ship, Ovation of the Seas, which was docked at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre in Singapore. A 27-year-old man was discovered deceased shortly after the ship’s arrival in Singapore waters at around 6:30 a.m.
Singapore police were alerted to the situation at approximately 6:35 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found the man unresponsive. Medical staff onboard confirmed his death. Preliminary investigations suggested that there was no foul play involved, although the police are continuing their inquiries.
