Superyacht Emerald Kaia Successfully Concludes Sea Trials Before Adriatic Debut
Emerald Cruises has announced that its new superyacht, Emerald Kaia, has successfully completed its sea trials and is on track for its inaugural sailing planned for May 10th. This 110-meter vessel will offer 7-night itineraries in the Adriatic, starting from Dubrovnik and Split.
The Emerald Kaia is designed for easy access to small ports, ensuring calls at picturesque destinations such as Hvar, Korčula, and Mljet in Croatia, and Kotor in Montenegro. The yacht accommodates up to 360 passengers in a variety of 180 staterooms, including 44 Balcony Suites, 12 Deluxe Balcony Suites, 8 Terrace Suites, and 2 Owner’s Suites.
The completion of sea trials is a significant step forward in the technical development of Emerald Kaia, paving the way for the final delivery and commencement of guest operations. Emerald Cruises emphasizes that this new vessel showcases an evolution of its ocean yacht concept, providing a compact yet amenity-rich experience alongside destination-focused itineraries.
Onboard amenities include an infinity swimming pool, a Sky Bar, an observation lounge, and a wellness area featuring spa and fitness facilities. Dining options will be centered around Aqua, the main restaurant, supplemented by Aperitivo, a specialty venue. A marina platform at the stern will facilitate access to various water sports, with equipment available for kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and snorkeling.
Emerald Kaia complements its sister ship, Emerald Azzurra, which launched in 2022 and currently offers itineraries in the Mediterranean and Red Sea, thus expanding Emerald Cruises’ ocean yacht collection focused on smaller ships and immersive sailing experiences.
