HAL-Holland America Line Unveils Exciting Fleet Deployment Schedules for Winter 2027-2028

HAL-Holland America Line has unveiled its seasonal deployment schedule for the winter of 2027–2028, offering nearly three dozen voyages across Hawaii, Mexico, the Pacific Coast, and Panama Canal routes. The itinerary allows extended overnight stays in Honolulu and increases exploration opportunities in the Sea of Cortez.

The voyages will be serviced by the vessels Koningsdam, Eurodam, Nieuw Amsterdam, and Zaandam, with sailings running from October 2027 to April 2028, departing from five different locations across North America and the Pacific Northwest. The itinerary has been designed to accommodate a variety of travel preferences, from tropical island escapes to longer transits through Central America.

The Hawaii itinerary features extended stays in Honolulu and visits to significant natural attractions like volcanic parks and black-sand beaches. Guests can embark on 17- and 18-day Circular Hawaii voyages that stop at key destinations including Nawiliwili (Kauai), Honolulu, Kahului (Maui), Kona, and Hilo on the Big Island. Some voyages offer extended overnights in Honolulu and additional port visits to Ensenada, Mexico.

For the Panama Canal, itineraries vary from 14 to 22 days, providing guests picturesque views of the canal’s locks, including Gatun, Pedro Miguel, and Miraflores. Shore excursions may lead to UNESCO World Heritage sites, archaeological spots, and nature sanctuaries across Central America. The departure points for these cruises include Fort Lauderdale or Miami to San Diego, Seattle to Fort Lauderdale, and round trips from Fort Lauderdale to Vancouver.

Additionally, the Mexican coasts will see a range of cruise lengths from 5 to 12 days, mainly operating roundtrip from San Diego. Ports featured in these itineraries include Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán, Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco, Loreto, Pichilingue (La Paz), and Manzanillo, among others.

The Pacific Coast voyages span 1 to 7 days, reinstituting the roundtrip passage through the Great Bear Rainforest from Vancouver in 2028. These journeys will concentrate on British Columbia’s waterways and visit the US West Coast. For those new to cruising, HAL offers a one-day sailing aboard Eurodam from Seattle to Vancouver on October 2, 2027.

The company aims to provide diverse choices well-suited for different operational and passenger needs during the 2027–2028 season.
