Azamara Unveils Exciting 2027 Alaska Cruisetour Program Schedule

Azamara Cruises has announced its Alaska Cruisetours for the 2027 season, designed in response to guest preferences collected before the brand resumes operations in Alaska in 2026. These tours combine extended coastal cruises with guided land segments in Alaska and Western Canada, offering travelers a seamless itinerary that blends both maritime and inland experiences.

The 2027 Cruisetours were shaped by feedback highlighting a desire for longer land excursions in addition to traditional coastal adventures. Each program is carefully crafted to transition seamlessly between ship and land tours, including hotel accommodations, luggage handling, guided excursions, select meals, and admissions to various attractions.

The offerings are aligned with Azamara’s 10- and 11-night Alaska sailings and can be customized in 4-, 5-, or 6-night packages. One featured option, the Alaska Explorer Cruisetour, offers pre- and post-cruise experiences, allowing guests to explore the Alaskan interior. This includes river trips on a traditional sternwheeler along the Chena River, scenic railway journeys in a Deluxe Dome car, and visits to Denali National Park with guided Tundra Wilderness Tours. Additionally, guests can participate in a jet boat excursion near Talkeetna and cultural activities at the Alaska Native Heritage Center.

For those seeking Canadian Rockies adventures, the Canadian Rockies Cruisetour offers a 5-night post-cruise journey aboard the Rocky Mountaineer in GoldLeaf Service, showcasing breathtaking views through national parks like Banff and Lake Louise, as well as experiences like scenic gondola rides. An alternate SilverLeaf Service presents a different service level with panoramic window seating and in-seat meal options.

A more extensive option, the Banff, Lake Louise & Whistler Cruisetour, spans six nights before embarking on the cruise. It features travel from Calgary to Vancouver, through the picturesque Rocky Mountains, opportunities for bear-viewing, local wine tastings, and a guided tour of Vancouver.

Some departures are linked with transpacific sailings starting in northern Japan and concluding in Alaska, allowing travelers to experience diverse port visits along the way. Overall, Azamara’s 2027 program aims to deliver a well-organized travel experience that connects guests to both maritime and terrestrial adventures.
