Cunard Expands Horizons: Doubling Ship Visit Opportunities for Travel Agents
Cunard has announced an expansion of its ship visit program for travel agents in 2026, doubling the opportunities compared to the previous year. This initiative is aimed at enhancing travel agents’ understanding of the Cunard fleet, with over 900 agents set to be invited for firsthand experiences aboard its ships.
Cunard emphasizes the importance of immersing travel agents in the unique Cunard experience, thus enabling them to represent the brand authentically to their customers. Iain Baillie, AVP UK & EMEA Sales at Cunard, stated that this expansion reflects the company’s commitment to providing meaningful experiences that empower agents to convey the Cunard story.
The ship visits will include an initial wave of tours in Southampton and Liverpool, focusing on the Queen Mary 2 and the recently launched Queen Anne. Specific dates for visits to the Queen Mary 2 are May 15, June 26, and July 17, while agents can visit the Queen Anne on June 17.
Additionally, the 2026 familiarization trips will invite more travel partners than in the past, offering three voyages from Southampton between May and November. These trips will include:
- May 15 – 22: Queen Mary 2; Norwegian Fjords (M611N)
- November 7 – 11: Queen Victoria; Zeebrugge and Cherbourg (V622)
- November 25 – 29: Queen Anne; Rotterdam (H630)
Travel agents can register for these ship visits and familiarization trips through Cunard’s Shine Rewards Club, the brand’s loyalty program for agents.
