MSC Cruises Organizes Repatriation Flights for MSC Euribia Guests Stranded in Dubai

MSC Cruises has coordinated repatriation flights for over 1,500 guests who were aboard the MSC Euribia in Dubai, due to recent travel disruptions affecting the Middle East.

On March 6th, MSC Cruises announced the departure of seven flights transporting passengers from the region. The repatriation involved both charter flights arranged by MSC and seats on commercial flights secured through partnerships with Emirates and flydubai. Some travelers also utilized government-organized evacuation flights to return home.

The operation facilitated the safe transport of passengers to various international locations, including the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Spain, the United States, and Brazil.

Pierfrancesco Vago, Executive Chairman of MSC Cruises, emphasized the logistical complexity of the repatriation, acknowledging the dedicated efforts of both shipboard and shore personnel in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of guests throughout the process. He also thanked the cooperation of airline partners and governmental agencies, which was crucial in organizing flights and obtaining necessary regulatory approvals.

While most guests have departed, some passengers remain on board the MSC Euribia as further arrangements are being made for their exit from Dubai.
