Carnival Cruise Line Introduces Fleetwide Expansion of Express Dining for Enhanced Guest Experience
CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has rolled out a new dining option called Express Dining to enhance onboard meal experiences for guests, allowing for quicker service without compromising quality. This initiative aims to respond to passenger feedback for greater flexibility in their dining choices.
The Express Dining service, already available on 15 ships, is set to be introduced fleetwide by the end of May. Guests will enjoy a multi-course dinner, freshly prepared and served in under an hour for parties of up to six, every evening in the main dining room.
Christine Duffy, the company president, highlighted that the expansion is based on successful trials and positive guest feedback. The program is designed to provide more time for other onboard activities while still delivering the high standard of cuisine and service expected from Carnival.
Guests have the option to choose between the traditional leisurely dining experience or the Express Dining alternative, which features a similar menu but with a slightly limited selection of dishes. Dietary needs and special meal requests will continue to be accommodated.
For those with flexible dining arrangements through the Carnival HUB App Your Time Dining, opting into the Express Dining program is simple via the mobile app.
This initiative is part of Carnival’s broader strategy to diversify food and beverage options, ensuring that passengers have more control over their onboard experiences. The recent introduction of the Family Express service on the Lido Deck is another initiative that reflects the cruise line’s focus on flexibility and guest preferences.
