CCL – Carnival Cruise Line Expands Express Dining Options Across the Fleet
CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has unveiled an innovative onboard dining option named Express Dining, aimed at delivering a quicker evening meal experience while preserving the quality and presentation synonymous with the line’s main dining rooms. Currently, this program has been rolled out on 15 ships and is expected to be available across the entire fleet by the end of May.
Designed for groups of up to six, Express Dining offers a freshly prepared multi-course meal served in under an hour each evening. Executive Christine Duffy explained that the initiative stemmed from passenger feedback requesting more flexibility in their onboard schedules. The positive reception during a pilot phase encouraged Carnival to implement the program on more vessels.
Express Dining serves as a complement to the traditional dining experience, allowing passengers to choose between the leisurely meal service or the expedited alternative. While the two options share a similar menu structure, the express service features a slightly limited selection of dishes. Carnival also assures that dietary requests and meal accommodations will continue to be met.
For guests participating in Carnival’s flexible dining arrangement, dubbed “Your Time Dining” via the Carnival HUB App, there’s an option to join Express Dining.
This latest addition is part of Carnival’s broader strategy to offer an enhanced range of food and beverage options, providing greater flexibility for passengers during their onboard experiences. Recently, the Family Express service on the Lido Deck was successfully tested on Carnival Vista and has been extended to the entire fleet due to strong guest feedback.
