Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady Set for 2026 Drydock Refurbishment and Exciting New Indian Dining Venue
Virgin Voyages has unveiled details for the upcoming drydock refurbishment of the MS Valiant Lady, scheduled for May 2026. During this drydock, the ship will undergo essential maintenance work along with various operational and hospitality enhancements before it resumes service on May 25, 2026.
A standout enhancement will be the launch of a new dining venue called Ariya by Razzle Dazzle, which will take over the existing Razzle Dazzle space. This new restaurant concept will focus on Indian cuisine, developed in partnership with Indie Culinaire and chef Maneet Chauhan.
Throughout the day, the venue will operate as the Razzle Dazzle restaurant, serving breakfast and brunch. In the evenings, it will transform into Ariya, offering a menu that emphasizes regional Indian culinary traditions, featuring spice-forward dishes and traditional cooking methods. The redesigned space will accommodate about 220 guests, with menu highlights including lamb shank biryani, Goan-style curried mussels, Malabar coconut crab cake, and more. The dining experience will begin with a welcome drink, jaljeera, and a cocktail menu infused with Indian ingredients like cardamom and saffron.
This initiative is part of Virgin Voyages’ strategy to enhance the Razzle Dazzle concept across its fleet, following similar transformations on the Scarlet Lady and Brilliant Lady.
In addition to the dining updates, Valiant Lady will see the introduction of an updated Roundabout concept, which features improved seating and viewing areas. The specific details of changes in this space have yet to be disclosed.
As with any drydock period, routine maintenance will also take place, including technical inspections and upgrades to public areas and passenger cabins. The refurbishment will occur at the Fincantieri shipyard in Palermo, which has previously worked on the Scarlet Lady.
Following the refurbishment, Valiant Lady is set to embark on a 6-night voyage from Rome, with stops including Salerno, Cannes, two days in Ibiza, and concluding in Barcelona.
