Disney Cruise Line Unveils Fourth Wish-Class Vessel: Introducing Disney Believe
Disney Cruise Line has announced that its fourth Wish-class ship will be named Disney Believe, with scheduled entry into service in late 2027. This announcement was made during the company’s annual meeting, as part of a broader strategy to expand its fleet over the coming decade.
Disney Believe will carry forward the thematic elements established in the Wish-class series, which are centered around narratives of ambition and personal determination. The onboard environment and entertainment will feature characters and storylines from beloved Disney productions such as Encanto, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Little Mermaid, and Moana.
This new vessel will follow a similar design and operational blueprint as its sister ships, which include Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. Each ship is constructed at the Meyer Werft shipyard, typically weighing around 144,000 gross tons and accommodating approximately 4,000 passengers.
The introduction of Disney Believe comes on the heels of the recent launch of Disney Adventure, which began service in Singapore in early 2026, bringing Disney Cruise Line’s active fleet to eight vessels. The company has plans to expand further, with an expectation of having 13 ships by 2031, which will include a new class of smaller ships set to commence delivery in 2029.
