Royal Caribbean Unveils ‘America’s Got Talent LIVE’ Experience on the Legend of the Seas
Royal Caribbean International (RCI) is set to launch a new stage production, "America’s Got Talent LIVE," on board the Legend of the Seas, with a premiere date scheduled for August 2026. This unique take on the popular television franchise will be the first time it is presented as a featured performance at sea.
The show will take place in the Royal Theater of the ship, showcasing a diverse lineup of performers from the broader Got Talent network, including magicians, musicians, acrobats, and aerialists. The concept retains the essence of the original format while adapting it for a cruise environment and catering to an international audience.
Company representatives noted that this initiative is part of an ongoing effort to enhance onboard entertainment, incorporating various performance venues such as theater, water areas, and ice rinks. This new production aligns with Royal Caribbean’s goal of providing large-scale, visually engaging entertainment that meets modern expectations for cruise experiences.
Fremantle, the production company behind the franchise, views this collaboration as an opportunity to introduce international talent to audiences in a specially designed maritime venue.
"America’s Got Talent LIVE" will be one component of a wider entertainment program aboard Legend of the Seas, which will also feature theatrical performances, aquatic displays in the AquaTheater, and ice shows in what is claimed to be the largest ice arena at sea.
The ship is expected to start its Mediterranean service in summer 2026, offering seven-night itineraries from Barcelona and Civitavecchia, followed by a repositioning to Fort Lauderdale in November for Caribbean routes. These Caribbean itineraries will encompass 6- and 8-night voyages, featuring stops at various ports in the Western and Southern Caribbean, as well as visits to the company’s exclusive destination in the Bahamas.
