Disney Cruise Line Unveils Fourth Wish-Class Vessel: Introducing Disney Believe
DCL-Disney Cruise Line has officially announced the name of its fourth ship in the WISH-class series, titled Disney Believe. The ship is set to enter service in late 2027 as part of a larger fleet expansion plan continuing into the next decade.
The Disney Believe will maintain the thematic focus of its sister ships, centering on characters that embody aspiration and personal determination. Notable narratives embedded in the ship’s design and entertainment will be inspired by popular films such as Encanto, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Little Mermaid, and Moana.
This new vessel will share the design and operational specifications with other WISH-class ships, including Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. Each of these ships, built by Meyer Werft in Germany, has a gross tonnage of approximately 144,000 GT and can accommodate around 4,000 passengers.
Disney Believe’s launch follows the recent debut of Disney Adventure, which began service in Singapore in early 2026, thereby increasing DCL’s active fleet to eight ships. Plans are already in place to further expand the fleet, aiming to have 13 vessels by 2031, including a new class of smaller vessels expected to start deliveries in 2029.
The introduction of Disney Believe exemplifies Disney Cruise Line’s consistent design philosophy, which integrates themed environments with high-capacity passenger operations, while advancing the global expansion of DCL.
