Regent Seven Seas Cruises Announces Exciting 2029 World Voyage Aboard the Mariner
Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced details of its ambitious 150-night World Cruise for 2029, named "Eras of Exploration." This spectacular journey aboard the Seven Seas Mariner is set to depart from Miami, Florida, on January 6th, 2029, ultimately concluding in Rome, Italy, after an extensive itinerary covering around 37,000 nautical miles.
Throughout the nearly five-month voyage, the luxurious Seven Seas Mariner will visit 70 ports across 31 countries on all seven continents. The adventure begins with an exploration of South America, including a cruise along the Amazon River, before heading southward to Antarctica.
Post-Antarctica, the ship will sail across the Pacific, stopping at the Polynesian islands before reaching Australia. From there, the journey continues through Southeast Asia and across the Indian Ocean, with stops in India and visits to renowned historical sites, including Petra in Jordan and the Nile in Egypt. The cruise will wrap up with visits to several Mediterranean ports before arriving in Civitavecchia, Rome.
Passengers will enjoy access to 326 included shore excursions throughout the voyage, along with 13 overnight port stays at key destinations such as Lima, Peru, and Sydney, Australia. Moreover, the itinerary will feature excursions to 57 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The Seven Seas Mariner, which first set sail in 2001 and accommodates approximately 700 guests, has recently undergone significant refurbishments, enhancing suite interiors and upgrading marble bathrooms. A new Epicurean Enrichment Studio has also been introduced on the ship to offer culinary experiences.
Fares for the world cruise start at approximately $99,999 per person for a Deluxe Veranda Suite, reaching up to $344,999 for the most luxurious Signature Suite. Reservations will be open starting April 1, 2026.
