Margaritaville at Sea is honoring heroes during Heroes Month in May with a variety of initiatives aimed at recognizing active and former military personnel, first responders, nurses, and educators. This celebration builds upon their existing Heroes Sail Free program, launched in collaboration with GOVX in 2022.
CEO Christopher Ivy expressed that Heroes Month is not just about acknowledgment but about fostering connections and gratitude for those who serve the community. A key feature of this initiative is the introduction of Heroes Hall on the Beachcomber, the newest addition to their fleet. This space will provide an immersive experience, showcasing stories and memorabilia related to heroes.
Set to launch in January 2027, the Beachcomber promises to be the largest ship in Margaritaville’s lineup. Additionally, throughout May, the cruise line is hosting the Heroes “At Sea” giveaway, allowing eligible guests to win a seven-night Caribbean cruise for two from Port Tampa Bay. Participants can enter while on board or be nominated by friends and family online.
Margaritaville at Sea will also continue its partnership with Hire Heroes USA, reinforcing its commitment to veteran-support initiatives. Working alongside GOVX, the cruise line aims to enhance the reach and impact of their programs throughout the month.
