Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced a partnership with Italian bedmaker Flou to create custom sleep systems for the forthcoming Seven Seas Prestige, set to launch in December 2026. The new "Distinctive Suites" will feature handcrafted mattresses to ensure a luxurious experience.
A special custom mattress is being designed for the ship’s Skyview Regent Suite, which is touted as the largest all-inclusive ultra-luxury cruise suite ever. This stunning suite, measuring 8,794 square feet and costing $25,000 per night, will include a principal bedroom with a unique mattress enhanced with natural antibacterial silver thread.
The luxurious mattress, almost seven by seven feet in size, integrates over 10,000 micropocket springs across six temperature-controlling layers to adapt to individual sleeping positions. Additionally, a bespoke pillow and linen menu will complement the mattress.
Regent’s President, Wesley D’Silva, emphasized the importance of a restful night’s sleep in enhancing the overall voyage experience. He depicted the collaboration with Flou as a commitment to delivering unrivaled relaxation for guests, allowing them to wake up rejuvenated and ready to explore breathtaking destinations.
Flou’s board member, Cristiana Messina, noted that their design inspiration stems from the sea, aiming to create a sleeping environment that feels enveloping and supportive.
Once operational in late 2026, Seven Seas Prestige will offer a series of cruises in the Caribbean and Europe, kicking off its inaugural season with 13 cruises beginning with a maiden voyage from Barcelona on December 13, 2026.
