On June 4, 2026, the Eastern Venus made its inaugural arrival in Vladivostok, marking the return of cruise operations to the Russian port after a six-year hiatus. The ship, operated by Eastern Cruises, embarked on a roundtrip journey from Busan, South Korea, with South Korean passengers onboard and scheduled stops in Sokcho, Vladivostok, and Sakaiminato, Japan.
During their stay in Vladivostok, the guests were offered various shore excursions to explore the city’s notable attractions. The onboard ceremony for the maiden call was attended by officials from the Primorsky Territory Government, the administration of Vladivostok, representatives from the Vladivostok International Marine Passenger Terminal, as well as the cruise line’s team.
The Eastern Venus has a history of operating in this region, having previously sailed as the Pacific Venus before ceasing operations in 2019.
