Margaritaville at Sea is enhancing the entertainment experience on its upcoming cruise ship, the Beachcomber, set to launch in January 2027. The cruise line has announced it will feature three original productions that will be performed multiple times during each sailing.
Karen Maybury, vice president of entertainment, emphasized that live music and original shows are key components of the Margaritaville at Sea experience. The new productions aim to embody the brand’s spirit of energy, escapism, and fun, creating a unique atmosphere for guests from the moment they board.
The three shows include:
- Friday Night Country: A country music extravaganza mimicking a live outdoor concert with contemporary hits and acrobatic acts.
- Red, White & Margaritaville: A rock musical that follows a small-town band striving for success, complete with live performances and illusion elements.
- Club Fuego: A Latin-themed show celebrating the vibrant music and visuals from Miami, Puerto Rico, and Havana, available in an all-ages version and an adults-only late-night edition.
Unlike previous ships where programming was more casual, the Beachcomber will offer larger-scale productions and a broader variety of entertainment options. The vessel, currently known as the Costa Fortuna under Costa Cruises, is scheduled for a significant refurbishment in late September 2026, after which it will be transformed into the Beachcomber.
