A Miami-Dade judge is set to hear Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings’ (NCLH) request to move the legal case involving Frank Del Rio’s consulting pay to the court’s Complex Business Litigation Division on July 8. The hearing, scheduled for 9:30 a.m., will take place via Zoom before Judge Gina Beovides.
The July 8 hearing will only focus on NCLH’s motion to transfer the case and will not address the separate motions to dismiss that NCLH and four former directors filed on June 25. Frank Del Rio, who served as the CEO of NCLH from 2015 until mid-2023, has filed a lawsuit against both the company and former directors Russell Galbut, Harry Curtis, Mary Landry, and Stella David, alleging they failed to uphold a commitment regarding an extension of his consulting deal post-retirement.
