Crystal has unveiled its plans for the Crystal Grace, a new ship set to launch in 2028, focusing on family-friendly and outdoor spaces. Currently under construction at Fincantieri, Crystal Grace is scheduled for her inaugural voyage on June 11, 2028, from Civitavecchia to Venice.
Bernie Leypold, Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations for Crystal, emphasized that as families increasingly travel together, the ship will cater to guests of all ages. The design includes expanded youth venues to foster connection and relaxation during voyages.
Family Spaces
On deck 11, a dedicated youth area will feature a shallow pool and recreational games, along with spaces for family interaction. The revamped Waves Teen Center will now be the largest in their fleet, offering entertainment lounges, gaming areas, and spaces for music and dance. This center will have programming for guests aged 13 to 17 during peak travel times.
Additionally, the Fantasia Children’s Playroom will cater to younger children aged 3 to 12, ensuring that all family members have activities suited to their age group.
Outdoor Spaces
The Seahorse Pool, located on deck 10, will be the largest in the Crystal fleet, equipped with 140 loungers and an outdoor LED screen. For the first time, Crystal Grace will also feature 60 private cabanas overlooking the Seahorse Pool, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To enhance the outdoor experience, a poolside bar will be set up midship on deck 10, complementing the recreational offerings. The Crystal Serenity will also get a poolside bar during an upcoming drydock in October.
