Explora Journeys is strengthening its North American leadership as it prepares for further growth in the region. The company has appointed Lara Koslow as president, North America, and created a new position for Chris Austin as president, Luxury Travel Partnerships.
Koslow’s appointment takes effect November 30, 2026. Based in Miami, she will lead the brand’s commercial management, marketing and sales across the United States, Canada and Mexico. She will report to Ruben A. Rodriguez, CEO of MSC Group’s Cruise Division in North America, and work closely with Explora Journeys’ global president, Anna Nash.
Austin will report to Koslow and continue overseeing trade sales, trade marketing and trade sales support. His expanded role will focus on luxury travel partnerships and new distribution channels, including collaboration with MSC Cruises North America to broaden distribution for MSC Yacht Club and identify opportunities between the two brands. He will also remain a brand ambassador and spokesperson.
The appointments come amid strong booking momentum and an expanding itinerary lineup. Explora Journeys plans to introduce Alaska sailings in 2027, Asia itineraries in 2027–28, South America in 2028 and a World Journey in 2029. The company’s long-term plan calls for a fleet of six ocean ships by 2028.
