Princess Cruises has announced its 2028–2029 Australia and New Zealand season, along with the 2029 Grand World Odyssey. Bookings for all voyages are scheduled to open on November 10, 2026.
The 129-night Grand World Odyssey aboard Grand Princess will be the company’s longest roundtrip world cruise departing from Australia. Covering approximately 37,300 nautical miles, it will visit 61 destinations in 31 countries across five continents, with access to 51 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The itinerary includes stops in New York, Miami, Reykjavik, Lisbon, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Tahiti and Auckland, as well as scenic cruising near Easter Island and Pitcairn Island. The voyage will transit the Panama Canal’s new locks twice and include nine extended port visits, eight late-night departures and one overnight call. Guests can embark in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne, with an additional departure option from Dover in the United Kingdom.
The Australia and New Zealand programme will offer more than 90 departures across over 70 itineraries, ranging from two to 46 nights. Grand Princess, Emerald Princess and Royal Princess will visit 42 destinations in six countries, including 10 UNESCO World Heritage Sites and 11 extended port experiences.
Departures will be available from Adelaide, Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne, Fremantle and Sydney. The season includes 17 round-Australia voyages, Emerald Princess’s return to Australia for the first time since 2016–2017, renewed homeporting in Melbourne and an expanded selection of New Zealand cruises.
Regional highlights include the little penguin parade on Phillip Island, wildlife encounters on Kangaroo Island and scenic cruising along the remote Kimberley Coast. New Zealand itineraries will feature Fiordland National Park and destinations on both the North and South Islands, while South Pacific voyages will visit tropical island communities.
Princess Cruises will offer early-booking incentives from November 10, 2026, through February 16, 2027. For Australia and New Zealand sailings, offers include up to US$500 in instant savings and onboard credit, reduced deposits, early access to dining reservations and arrival groups, a complimentary location upgrade and Captain’s Circle savings.
