Royal Caribbean International has opened bookings for its summer 2028 Caribbean and Mexico programme. From April through October, 11 ships will sail from Florida, Texas, Puerto Rico and the northeastern United States, offering a range of itinerary lengths. The deployment includes four ICON-class ships.
The newest ICON ship, Hero of the Seas, is scheduled to enter service in 2027 and will sail 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Miami, including calls at the private resort island of CocoCay. Also departing Miami, Symphony of the Seas will offer 6- and 8-night cruises, with new onboard experiences planned for 2028.
From Fort Lauderdale, Legend of the Seas will begin 6- and 8-night itineraries in April 2028, with stops including Cabo Rojo in the Dominican Republic and Oranjestad, Aruba.
At Port Canaveral, Star of the Seas and Harmony of the Seas will operate 7-night Caribbean cruises. Brilliance of the Seas will offer 6- and 7-night Western Caribbean voyages.
From Galveston, Icon of the Seas will sail 6- to 8-night Western Caribbean itineraries. Enchantment of the Seas, based in Puerto Rico, will explore the Southern Caribbean, calling at the British Virgin Islands, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, Dominica and Barbados.
The northeastern programme includes Vision of the Seas, sailing from Baltimore on 5- to 9-night cruises to Bermuda and the Southern Caribbean, including Martinique and Antigua.
From Cape Liberty in Bayonne, New Jersey, Independence of the Seas will offer 4- to 9-night itineraries to Canada, New England, Bermuda and the Eastern Caribbean. Oasis of the Seas will sail 7-night Caribbean cruises.
The 2028 schedule broadens Royal Caribbean’s Caribbean offerings, with multiple departure ports, destinations and cruise lengths. Itineraries include calls at places such as Nassau, Cozumel, Grand Turk, St. Croix and Samaná.
