Holland America Introduces New Enhanced Stateroom Decor Packages

Holland America Line is set to launch improved room decoration options for both birthdays and anniversaries, which will be accessible across its entire fleet by December 2024, as per an announcement in a press release.

The decoration packages can be purchased in advance by guests, who will find their rooms festively embellished right from the first day of their journey. The offerings include a standard package for $54.95 and a deluxe package for $79.95. Both packages come with a celebratory door magnet, ceiling banners that attach magnetically, and a custom lanyard. The deluxe option also includes a special “Time to Celebrate” blanket.

Carole Biencourt, vice president of guest commerce at Holland America Line, noted, “Many of our passengers opt to cruise on special occasions, and these enhanced decoration options provide a wonderful opportunity to elevate their experience and create lasting memories. We’ve crafted a selection of birthday and anniversary packages to enable our guests to celebrate with flair.”

Further personalization is possible with a host of additional celebratory items like birthday cakes, bottles of champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, and spa treatments.

Additionally, new seasonal decoration packages are being introduced. These include options for winter holidays, departure celebrations, Alaskan journeys, and themed adventures featuring Lewie the Lion, the line’s mascot.
