Lisbon Cruise Port Triumphs at the World Cruise Awards
The Lisbon Cruise Port has achieved significant recognition, being awarded as Europe’s Best Cruise Terminal while the city of Lisbon earned the title of Europe’s Best Cruise Destination at the fourth annual World Cruise Awards held in Funchal, Madeira.
This marks the second time that the Lisbon Cruise Port has received this accolade, having previously won in 2022. The terminal stood out due to its world-class facilities and seamless integration with the cityscape and the Tagus River, outperforming notable competitors such as ports in Barcelona, Oslo, Valletta, and Amsterdam.
Lisbon itself has now received the Best Cruise Destination award for the second time, following its initial win in 2021. This recognition reinforces Lisbon’s status as a prime destination for cruise tourism.
