Norwegian Dawn and Star Set to Depart from Tampa for 2025-26 Seasons
Norwegian Cruise Line is set to return the Norwegian Dawn and Norwegian Star to service from Tampa for the 2025-26 winter season. The company has opened bookings for these new itineraries on its website, replacing previously canceled voyages in South America and Africa.
The Norwegian Dawn will commence its homeporting in Tampa on November 16, 2025, after completing a trans-Atlantic cruise from Spain. It will operate a series of seven-night cruises to various Western Caribbean destinations, including Cozumel, Costa Maya, Harvest Caye, Roatán, and Key West. Additionally, the Dawn will offer ten-night cruises that include ports like Cabo Rojo, George Town, Falmouth, Aruba, and Curaçao. Before heading to Europe in early April, the ship will conduct four-night cruises to the Bahamas, featuring a stop at Norwegian’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay.
The Norwegian Star will arrive in Tampa later, capping a trans-Atlantic journey on December 5, 2025. This ship will provide a selection of four- to twelve-night cruises covering the Eastern, Southern, and Western Caribbean, as well as the Bahamas, making stops at places such as St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Cabo Rojo, Falmouth, Key West, and Great Stirrup Cay, before concluding its Tampa season with a trans-Atlantic cruise to Portugal in mid-April 2026.
In related changes for the 2025-26 season, the Norwegian Jewel and Norwegian Jade will undergo redeployments. The Jewel will shift to Miami, offering cruises to the Bahamas, Southern Caribbean, and Panama Canal instead of Tampa. Similarly, the Jade will remain on the West Coast for Mexican Riviera cruises out of San Diego, rather than conducting trans-Canal cruises from Miami and Panama City.
