Exploring the World’s Most Luxurious Cruise: Is It the Most Expensive?
Mundy Cruising has introduced a luxurious world cruise priced at $300,000 per person, spanning 105 days and covering breathtaking destinations from Japan to Croatia. This cruise, aptly named The Ultimate Luxury Cruise, begins in Tokyo in April and ends in Dubrovnik in July.
The journey kicks off with first-class flights to Tokyo, leading to a 12-day cruise in Japan aboard the Regent Seven Seas Explorer. During cherry blossom season, travelers will visit historical sites such as Kyoto’s ancient temples and the poignant remnants of Nagasaki, where the second atomic bomb was dropped in 1945.
Aboard the Regent Seven Seas Explorer, passengers will enjoy the opulence of the 3,000-square-foot Regent Suite, complete with rare artworks, an in-suite spa, and a private balcony featuring a whirlpool.
Following the Japan segment, guests will board the Seabourn Quest to further explore Japan, including hot springs in Hakodate and the region’s famous snow monkeys. The cruise continues to Alaska, where the ship navigates through Glacier Bay National Park. Throughout the journey, guests will stay in the Grand Wintergarden Suite, featuring expansive terraces and a solarium complete with a jacuzzi.
After two nights in Vancouver, the adventure includes a scenic journey on the Rocky Mountaineer train through Western Canada, featuring gourmet dining and stunning panoramic views. Travelers will spend nights at upscale hotels, including the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.
The next leg involves flying to New York to board Silver Dawn for a transatlantic voyage that takes in Boston, the rugged coastlines of Atlantic Canada, and stops in France before disembarking in Southampton. Onboard, travelers will experience luxury in the 1,389-square-foot Owner’s Suite, which comes with personal butler service.
Subsequent travels will take guests to Norway with Seabourn Sojourn, where they’ll stay in the Owner’s Suite while marveling at the majestic fjords and crossing the Arctic Circle.
A romantic interlude in Paris precedes a scenic train ride on the iconic Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, offering an Art Deco experience complete with private dining and round-the-clock butler service.
After departing Venice, guests will explore the enchanting Croatian coast aboard Silver Spirit, staying in a lavish Owner’s Suite with an Italian marble bath and sweeping views.
The journey culminates with a cruise on Explora I around the Adriatic Sea, visiting Athens and the ancient city of Dubrovnik. Passengers will experience the ultimate in luxury while staying in the Owner’s Residence on the ship, which features a private terrace and an infinity whirlpool.
Finally, adventurers can opt for an exclusive island-hopping journey through Greece and Montenegro on the 32-guest Le Ponant, with the option to charter the entire ship for a personalized experience.
