Aroya Cruises’ Flagship Launches After Major Overhaul by MJM Marine

MJM Marine has successfully completed a significant refurbishment project for Aroya Cruises, marking the launch of their flagship vessel from Jeddah earlier this week. This project is recognized as the largest refurbishment in the history of the marine cruise outfitting industry.

The former World Dream has been converted into Aroya, which aims to set a new standard for luxury and innovation in cruising through a combination of exquisite dining options, lively entertainment spaces, and culturally rich designs. The refurbishment involved upgrading all cabins, creating new suites, and building high-end dining areas along with advanced entertainment facilities. Notably, Aroya now features the largest retail and children’s venues at sea, designed to enhance guest experiences.

The refurbishment process began with surveys and design development in Singapore, progressed with onboard work in Rotterdam, and concluded with final preparations in Bremerhaven before the vessel’s departure to Jeddah.

Gary Annett, CEO of MJM Marine, emphasized the collaborative effort with Aroya Cruises and other stakeholders to realize the vision of “Remarkably Arabian.” The completion of this project underscores MJM Marine’s expertise and signifies the inception of a new niche in the cruise industry.

Aroya is poised to captivate audiences globally with its fusion of Arabian elegance and modern amenities, providing a unique cruise experience that honors a variety of guest preferences.
