MJM Marine has successfully completed a significant refurbishment project for Aroya Cruises, marked by the launch of their newly transformed flagship vessel from Jeddah this week. This initiative is celebrated as the largest refurbishment project in the cruise outfitting industry’s history.

The vessel, previously known as World Dream, has been reimagined into Aroya, the flagship of the Aroya Cruise brand. With a focus on luxurious experiences, Aroya features exceptional dining options, vibrant entertainment areas, and culturally immersive designs, setting a new standard for innovation in cruising. The refurbishment included extensive upgrades to cabins, the addition of new suites, and the creation of opulent dining spaces and advanced entertainment facilities. Notably, the project introduced the largest retail and children’s venues at sea, enhancing the overall guest experience.

The refurbishment journey began with detailed surveys and design work in Singapore, followed by drydocking upgrades in Rotterdam, and final preparations in Bremerhaven before her maiden journey to Jeddah.
