Nassau Welcomes Virgin Crew for an Exciting Mixology Class Experience
Virgin Voyages’ Resilient Lady made its inaugural visit to Nassau Cruise Port in late November, where the crew participated in a Bahamian mixology class. The session, led by acclaimed local mixologist ‘Marvelous Marv’ Cunningham, aimed to provide the crew with a culturally immersive experience. It included training for 15 crew members on how to craft four traditional Bahamian cocktails.
Mike Maura Jr., the CEO of Nassau Cruise Port, emphasized the importance of engaging with crew members, who are vital stakeholders in the port’s success. He noted that their positive recommendations influence passenger experiences significantly. This event is part of a broader strategy to enhance crew engagement and recognize their contributions during their visits to Nassau.
Additionally, Mehmet Kutman, CEO of Global Ports Holding, which manages Nassau Cruise Port, indicated that this initiative aligns with plans to expand services, including potential concierge offerings to accommodate the growing demand for luxury travel experiences among passengers.
