Regent’s Seven Seas Voyager Docks at New Mangalore Port: A Glimpse into Arabian Sea Cruising

The cruise ship Seven Seas Voyager, registered under the Bahamas flag, made a scheduled stop at New Mangalore Port in India on December 27, 2024. This marked the second vessel arrival for the season.

Arriving at 6:30 a.m. and departing at 5:30 p.m., the luxury cruise ship is operated by RSSC/Regent Seven Seas Cruises. It can accommodate up to 770 passengers, supported by a crew of 450, and features a total of 353 staterooms across its 12 decks.

Currently sailing on an Arabian Sea itinerary, the ship’s journey includes stops in major Indian port cities: Mumbai, Goa, New Mangalore, and Cochin, with its route leading to Colombo, Sri Lanka, after departing from Fujairah, UAE.

Upon arrival, passengers were welcomed with traditional Indian hospitality, showcasing the rich local culture. Organized excursions offered visitors the chance to explore various attractions, such as the Karkala Gomateshwara Temple, 1000 Pillar Basadi, Soans Farm, Kalbhavi Cashew Factory, Gokarnatha Temple, alongside visits to local markets.
