Giuliana Rizzo Takes the Helm as Godmother of Mein Schiff Relax

TUI Cruises has appointed Giuliana Rizzo, the Spa & Sport Manager since 2019, as the Godmother of their newest vessel, Mein Schiff Relax. The ship will be officially christened on April 9, 2025, in Malaga, Spain, with a special live performance by Robbie Williams at the ceremony.

Rizzo has been part of the TUI family since she started her career as a beautician on the Mein Schiff 3 in 2015. In her remarks about this honorary position, she highlighted the significance of wellness and relaxation, values that resonate with both her role and the ethos of the Mein Schiff fleet. She expressed heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to name this latest cruise ship.

Mein Schiff Relax, which is part of TUI’s new "InTUItion" class, is scheduled to begin her maiden voyage from Palma de Mallorca on March 2, 2025, right before the christening in Malaga. The event will be further elevated by the presence of Mein Schiff 5 and Mein Schiff 7 in port, allowing guests a chance to experience the celebrations firsthand.
