Former Guitarist of Iconic Classic Rock Band Experiences Medical Emergency While on Cruise Ship

Former Eagles guitarist Don Felder experienced a medical emergency while performing on the Rock Legends Cruise, but he is now recovering well. The incident occurred during his performance of “Tequila Sunrise” when Felder, 77, began to lose his balance. A crew member quickly assisted him offstage, prompting concern among fans and fellow musicians.

In an update shared on Instagram, Felder’s team reassured everyone that he had suffered from dehydration. They expressed gratitude for the concern shown by fans, stating, “After receiving medical attention, he was deemed to be suffering from dehydration. He was given fluids, and is feeling much better.”

Felder’s remaining performances for the cruise will be rescheduled to allow him sufficient time for recovery. He served as a guitarist for the Eagles from 1974 until 2001 and is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee with the band since 1998.
