Crescent Seas Welcomes Regent’s Seven Seas Navigator as Its First Residential Ship

Regent’s Seven Seas Navigator is set for a transformation into Crescent Seas’ first luxury residential ship in 2026. Crescent Seas, a new venture from luxury real estate developer Crescent Heights, aims to expand the concept of living at sea.

Russell W. Galbut, a founding partner of Crescent Heights and a veteran in the cruise industry, detailed that the choice of the Seven Seas Navigator was made after selecting ships that could be modified into high-end cruising yachts. Following its selection, experienced management teams will oversee the ship’s operations for at least a decade.

Crescent Seas has finalized an agreement with Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd to acquire the Seven Seas Navigator. The vessel will undergo a significant refurbishment process, with costs exceeding $50 million, involving three design firms: Lissoni & Partners, Journey, and MAWD, who will work on various redevelopment aspects.

Once the refurbishment is completed, the Navigator will feature 210 residences, with prices ranging from $750,000 to $8 million. Notable amenities will include a white-glove butler service for all units and Starlink internet connectivity, facilitating remote work and e-learning. Sales for these residences are set to begin on April 9, with an exhibition space for potential buyers located in Miami. The ship is expected to embark on its inaugural residential voyage in December 2026.

In addition to the Seven Seas Navigator, Crescent Seas plans to launch four more luxury residence ships within the next five years. These vessels will offer extended global voyages, with stays of two to three days in unique destinations like French Polynesia, the Faroe Islands, and Madagascar.

To maintain a high level of service, existing crews will continue to operate the ships, with onboard hospitality managed by The Apollo Group, which has over 50 years of experience in providing quality cruise services.

Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, expressed his contentment with the agreement, noting that while the Navigator is a beloved vessel, the new Prestige Class ships will help optimize the fleet. This collaboration ensures that the Seven Seas Navigator will continue to create memorable experiences at sea under the ownership of Crescent Seas.

This initiative mirrors a growing trend in the luxury real estate sector, offering wealthy individuals the chance to own a residence that combines home comforts with the excitement of global travel.
