International Travel Agents Enjoy Mein Schiff Relax on ‘Together at Sea’ Fam Trip

Between March 6th and 9th, over 150 international travel agents embarked on a ‘Together at Sea’ familiarization trip aboard the new Mein Schiff Relax, TUI’s inaugural vessel in the InTUItion class. This event set a record for the highest attendance of international agents in the history of the Mein Schiff brand, featuring participants from various countries, including Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Hungary, Slovakia, and South Tyrol/Alto Adige (Italy).

Throughout the program, agents engaged in a variety of onboard activities, including tours, informative presentations, and an interactive ship rally named ‘Relaxing Rocks Rally,’ encouraging exploration of the ship while offering a chance to win a complimentary cabin for two. Evening entertainment was provided by notable guest artists, such as Alex Christensen, DJ Mokaby, and the duo Mitchy and Andre Katawaz, all aligning with the ship’s ‘Relaxing rocks’ theme.

The feedback from agents was overwhelmingly positive. Karin Niehoff, Product Manager Cruises at TUI Nederland, highlighted that the bilingual initiative is making the Mein Schiff fleet more accessible to non-German-speaking guests, with Mein Schiff Relax serving as a prime example. Ivar Mensink, Senior International Sales Manager for the Mein Schiff brand, noted the agents’ enthusiasm as they explored and engaged with the ship, embodying the ‘Relaxing rocks’ concept creatively. Clas Eckholt, Vice President Commercial at TUI Cruises, emphasized the significance of the Mein Schiff Relax launch for the company and its international sales partners, underlining the added sales opportunities the ship provides.

Currently, the Mein Schiff Relax is being constructed at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy and is scheduled to be christened on April 9th, 2025, in Malaga, Spain. The vessel’s christening will feature a special performance by music icon Robbie Williams, who serves as the ship’s feel-good ambassador, reinforcing TUI Cruises’ dedication to delivering innovative experiences for both its guests and partners.
