Windstar Cruises will introduce its latest ship, the Star Seeker, starting its inaugural sailing season in December 2025. After a ceremonial christening on January 15, 2026, the ship will initially sail in the Caribbean before heading to Alaska for the summer, and later repositioning to Japan and other Asian regions.

As part of Windstar’s Star Class fleet, the Star Seeker has been crafted to enhance the company’s small-ship cruising experience. This new vessel will feature 112 guest suites, many of which will include private verandas or large windows that provide ocean ventilation. Designed by project designer Jessica Payne, the ship emphasizes both functionality and space optimization in a luxurious environment.

Public spaces on the Star Seeker are tailored to support Windstar’s service approach. A new specialty dining venue, Basil + Bamboo, will broaden culinary options for guests. The Yacht Club Cafe, with panoramic views, will provide informal dining throughout the day, while the adjacent Yacht Club Cafe Bar will serve a range of hot and cold beverages.

The Main Lounge is designed with a flexible seating arrangement in a modern style, making it suitable for various daytime and evening gatherings. The color scheme showcases greens against neutral tones for a cohesive aesthetic.

In the primary dining area, the Amphora Restaurant features blue tones and floor-to-ceiling windows to maximize ocean views. The seating options include intimate booth spaces and traditional tables to cater to different guest preferences.
