Transcend Cruises Reveals Names and Specs for Their Groundbreaking Inaugural B2B Riverboats

Transcend Cruises, a new charter-only river cruise operator, has revealed the names of its inaugural vessels designed specifically for the business-to-business (B2B) group travel market. The two ships will be called Transcend Connect and Transcend Evolve, with both currently being constructed at Den Breejen Shipyard in Hardinxveld-Giessendam, Holland.

These 135-meter-long riverboats will offer accommodations for up to 120 guests in spacious staterooms, which can be adapted into larger suites, making them ideal for group charters hosting events for 30 to 120 people. Each vessel will feature five event venues where all guests can gather concurrently. Noteworthy facilities will include a two-story amphitheater and "The Studio," a versatile 1300-ft² space equipped with audiovisual technology, conveniently located near an office area and three crew cabins.

The names were selected after evaluating over 100 options, with feedback from partners and key clients in the group travel sector playing a crucial role in the final decision. Transcend Connect is slated to commence service in April 2026, with Transcend Evolve expected to follow in the second quarter of 2026.
