Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas to Homeport in Singapore for the 2026-2027 Asia Season

RCI-Royal Caribbean International has revealed plans for its ship, Navigator of the Seas, to homeport in Singapore for the first time during the Asia season from October 2026 to February 2027. This launch will feature a variety of voyages throughout Southeast and East Asia, with trips ranging from 3 to 12 nights, now available for booking.

Chad Grospe, vice president and managing director for Asia Pacific, stated that the itineraries have been created with Asian travel preferences in mind, intending to offer families a multi-generational holiday experience that combines the well-loved attractions of Royal Caribbean with the region’s cultural richness.

The shorter sailings of 3 to 5 nights will include stops at destinations such as Penang and Langkawi in Malaysia, and Phuket in Thailand, known for their culinary delights, scenic beaches, and adventurous activities. For those interested in longer journeys, a special 10-night cruise will visit Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, along with an overnight stay in Bangkok, showcasing both coastal beauty and city vibrancy.

In February 2027, Navigator of the Seas will further expand its itineraries, offering 11 to 12-night cruises from Singapore and Tokyo that will explore cultural hubs including Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Taipei. These routes aim to blend cultural immersion with the cruise line’s signature entertainment and activities.

The ship will debut various amenities in Asia, featuring a revamped Caribbean-style pool deck, dual waterslides, and attractions like the FlowRider surf simulator and a rock climbing wall. Additionally, guests can enjoy unique experiences such as the Royal Escape Room and a new dry bar at sea.

Dining options have been upgraded too, with venues like Hooked for seafood lovers, El Loco Fresh for Mexican cuisine, and Johnny Rockets Express offering American diner favorites. Guests can unwind at the Bamboo Room, a Polynesian cocktail bar, for a relaxed drink.

Entertainment offerings will include original stage productions and ice-skating shows at Studio B, ensuring a vibrant cruise experience. With this strategic deployment, Royal Caribbean aims to enhance the family-friendly cruise experience in Asia, setting a high bar for the region’s cruising landscape during the 2026-2027 season.
