Marella Cruises UK Unveils Exciting 2026 Winter Program with Expanded Ports and Itineraries

Marella Cruises, a UK-based cruise line under TUI management, has unveiled its winter 2026 program, expanding itineraries and including ports not visited in over ten years. New destinations for the schedule feature La Goulette in Tunisia, Vigo in Spain, Porto (Lexios) in Portugal, and Tangier in Morocco. Bookings for these sailings will open on July 3, 2025.

The adult-only ship Marella Explorer 2 will launch its route titled ‘Mediterranean Moments’ from Dubrovnik to Malaga on October 29, 2026, with stops including Valletta in Malta and Alicante in Spain, marking the line’s return to Tunisia after a decade. Another adult-only vessel, Marella Discovery 2, will relocate from Malaga to Las Palmas starting November 13, 2026, beginning its Canaries winter season on a journey named ‘Atlantic Treasures’, with visits to Tangier and Lisbon.

Other ships in the fleet will be stationed in various European and Caribbean homeports. Marella Explorer 2 and Marella Voyager will be sailing from Barbados, while Marella Discovery will base in La Romana, Dominican Republic, transitioning to Majorca by March 2027. Marella Explorer and Marella Discovery 2 will also operate from Canary Islands ports before heading to Malaga in March 2027.

Moreover, new Caribbean routes are planned, including ‘Cocktails and Coconuts’ from Bridgetown, Barbados, with stops at destinations like Antigua and St Kitts. Another route, ‘Exotic Islands’, will take guests to St Lucia and Curaçao.

Marella Cruises is also enhancing its Cruise & Stay offerings by adding 22 hotel choices in Cyprus, Croatia, Corfu, and Spain, bolstering its total to 165 hotels available through TUI’s program. Flights will be accessible from 14 UK airports and overnight stays on board are scheduled for ports including Funchal, Madeira, and Willemstad, Curaçao.

Chris Hackney, Managing Director of Marella Cruises, highlighted the introduction of Tunisian ports as part of a broader strategy to diversify offerings while enhancing guest experiences through expanded destinations and itinerary designs. All Marella cruises are all-inclusive, with fares beginning at GBP 1,104 for the winter 2026 ‘Island Explorer’ itinerary.
