Celebrating a Decade of Adventure: Hamburg Cruise Days to Mark 10th Edition in September 2025

The upcoming 10th edition of the Hamburg Cruise Days is set to occur from September 12 to 14, 2025, providing an exciting lineup of maritime festivities at the Port of Hamburg, Germany.

During this celebration, several cruise ships are expected to participate, highlighted by a traditional evening parade on Saturday. This parade will feature illuminated vessels sailing along the Elbe, accompanied by music and fireworks. Attendees can look forward to a diverse array of culinary experiences and entertainment throughout the event.

Also, beginning on September 10th, the Seatrade Europe trade fair will take place alongside the cruise festival. This year, the event will be open to the public for the first time, with over 250 exhibitors and around 3,500 delegates from more than 90 countries. The conference will focus on future developments in technology and infrastructure for the cruise industry. A special program called “Destination Discovery Friday” on September 12 will allow up to 500 consumers direct access to the fair, marking another first for the event.

Additionally, from September 10 to 28, the Blue Port Hamburg light installation will illuminate key areas of the harbor, showcasing the work of Hamburg artist Michael Batz. This year’s installation will coincide with the 140th anniversary of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA).

The Hamburg Cruise Days have shown remarkable growth, with attendance surpassing 250,000 people in 2023, leading to a record 1.2 million cruise passengers for the city, marking a significant milestone for Hamburg’s cruise industry.
