Celestyal Discovery Expands Shore Excursions for Iconic Arabia Itineraries
Celestyal Cruises is set to enhance its "Iconic Arabia" itineraries with an expanded shore excursion program for its new vessel, the Celestyal Discovery. Starting in December 2025, the ship will host 3-, 4-, and 7-night cruises that will depart from its seasonal homeport in Abu Dhabi, accommodating up to 1,360 guests.
The updated excursion offerings will include new tours to Ras Al Khaimah, along with additional activities in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The itinerary will feature stops in Doha, Qatar; Khasab, Oman; Dubai, UAE; and Sir Bani Yas Island. Starting fares begin at US$339 per person, which includes meals, select beverages, Wi-Fi, port fees, and gratuities.
Guests can choose from half-day, full-day, and 2-day excursions. The new program introduces "Authentic Encounters," delivering intimate experiences with local cultures through smaller groups. Notable excursions include a full-day desert and mountain tour in Ras Al Khaimah, a pearl farming experience, and a half-day tour in Dubai that highlights the Ain Dubai observation wheel. Additionally, various cultural and culinary experiences in Abu Dhabi, along with a full-day excursion to Yas Waterworld, will be available.
This expansion of excursions aligns with a partnership between Celestyal and the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, aimed at showcasing Ras Al Khaimah as a significant tourist destination. Lee Haslett, the Chief Commercial Officer of Celestyal, emphasized that these excursions are designed to give guests unique insights into the region’s culture, history, and landscapes, thus connecting travelers with the authentic essence of each destination.
