Silversea Makes History: First Cruise Line to Introduce AI Fitness and Portable Golf Simulators
Silversea has made history by becoming the first cruise line to install AI-driven fitness tools and portable golf simulators on its ships. These innovations signify a major shift towards incorporating advanced technology in wellness and recreational activities at sea.
The cruise line has introduced “amp,” an AI-powered strength training device on the Silver Spirit, which customizes workouts based on user performance and delivers individualized feedback via an integrated app. Plans are in place to expand this technology fleetwide by 2026.
Additionally, Silversea will debut the SeaDrivePro, a portable golf simulator originally designed for superyachts, on the Silver Dawn in December 2025. This simulator tracks golfers’ swing data in real-time and includes instruction from professional golfers, and it will also be featured during Silversea’s World Cruise in 2026.
Beyond fitness and sports, Silversea is enhancing onboard experiences with new daily and evening programming. This includes the addition of pickleball courts and putting greens on the Silver Muse, as well as creative workshops focused on art, regional music, and culinary classes such as sushi-making and mixology.
Passengers can also enjoy immersive entertainment options like moonlight films and silent discos, alongside expanded lecture series covering various topics from longevity to cultural insights.
Health-conscious menu choices are being introduced at venues like the Arts Café and La Terrazza, featuring fresh juices and wellness shots to enhance the overall wellness experience aboard Silversea ships.
