MSC Cruises Introduces ‘World Class’ Elegance to Port Canaveral with New Ship
Switzerland-based MSC Cruises is set to continue its expansion in the U.S. with the introduction of a new ship named MSC World Atlantic, scheduled to launch from Port Canaveral, Florida, in 2027. This vessel is the fourth in MSC’s World Class series, which also includes the MSC World America, and aims to offer Caribbean cruises that integrate cultural experiences and flavors from across the Atlantic.
On December 10, 2025, MSC Cruises opened bookings for the inaugural cruise season of MSC World Atlantic, highlighting its unique onboard experiences. The ship will showcase more than 400,000 square feet of public space divided into seven themed districts, which will include over 30 bars and restaurants.
A standout feature will be Viva La Musica, a new Latin-themed bar that will offer live music and salsa dancing, creating an immersive cultural experience for guests. Additionally, the MSC World Atlantic will introduce The Clubhouse, an entertainment venue designed for families, offering activities ranging from classic games to roller skating.
MSC World Atlantic is set to offer alternating seven-night itineraries starting November 13, 2027, that explore eastern and western Caribbean destinations including Grand Turk, Puerto Plata, and Nassau.
President of MSC Cruises North America, Lynn Torrent, shared enthusiasm for the ship, emphasizing its blend of European style and American comfort, coupled with fresh entertainment options for unforgettable moments at sea.
Passengers can also look forward to amenities like:
- MSC Yacht Club: A luxury enclave offering exclusive lounges and suites.
- Outdoor Family Park: A water park with slides and a ropes course.
- Cliffhanger: An exhilarating swing ride above the ocean.
- Doremiland Kids Club: A dedicated kids area featuring LEGO spaces.
Guests will have the opportunity to indulge in a variety of global cuisines across the ship’s restaurants, including specialty options like Butcher’s Cut steakhouse and Kaito Sushi.
