Carnival Cruise Ship Sets Sail Again with Exciting New Enhancements
A Carnival cruise ship has made its return to service following a month’s refurbishment in dry dock. The Carnival Spirit has undergone significant upgrades that enhance its offerings to guests.
Notable enhancements include the new Heroes Tribute Bar, revamped casino with additional slot machines, a new mini-golf course, basketball court, nightclub, and dedicated space for the Chef’s Table. The ship’s spa and retail shops have also been refreshed, improving the overall experience for passengers.
In cabins, the ship boasts increased power outlets, having added new bedside cabinets equipped with one 110v outlet and two USB ports (a USB-A and a USB-C). Additionally, a new sofa bed light features two USB ports for greater convenience.
The Heroes Tribute Bar, available on 14 of Carnival’s ships, is dedicated to honoring those who have served in the Armed Forces. Lisa McCabe, Carnival’s vice president of refurbishments, emphasized the company’s commitment to enhancing its fleet, stating, “The new Heroes Tribute Bar and all the other upgrades to Carnival Spirit are part of our ongoing effort to continually enhance our existing fleet with features we know our guests appreciate and enjoy.”
After its refurbishment, Carnival Spirit is set to embark on a Transatlantic cruise from Barcelona to Miami, scheduled to arrive on March 30. Following this, it will journey through the Panama Canal, ultimately heading to Seattle for the summer season, where it will offer seven-night cruises to glacier locations including Tracy Arm Fjord, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, and Victoria. In the fall, the ship will offer a Carnival Journeys sailing to Hawaii before returning to Mobile, Alabama for the winter Caribbean cruise season.
